Revolution is coming..........

JS surfboards are releasing a new model.....the revolution. He is calling it his most advanced board to date for small waves.
The board was born from the very popular Blak Box model which is still his best selling board to date, it offers unbelievable performance in grovel waves up to over head.
The main differences between the Revolution and the Blak box is that the wide point has been moved forward and the rail volume reduced, this will give it a bit more bite from the narrower tail, better drive with the lower volume rails, so all in all a performance version of the Blak Box. I still think that the Blak Box will be the best option for summer and small waves in the UK.
As you can see in the picture above the other main difference is the addition of carbon patches, we have all seen the addition of the tail patches on the deck but the strip down the centre of the underside? JS states it is to stiffen the board through the mid section, but still allow the tail to flex. He also adds he has been using very different materials in the lamination of this board, which sounds like he has been focusing on the flex pattern of the boards more, time will tell.
In the meantime here is a little vid of Parko doing what he does on the latest model from JS, hopefully we will get our hands on one or 3 in the new year to try out, so watch this space for updates on when they are available.......
